Bella Terra

Bella Terra is a built-out, gated, no-golf Habitat CDD neighborhood of 1,899 homes on Corkscrew Road, with a 7,000-square-foot clubhouse campus and about 500 acres of lakes and preserves.

The Habitat Community Development District — the official name of the Bella Terra taxing district — was established in April 2003 and is fully built out. The CDD site and HOA site both count 1,899 residential units, 100 acres of lakes, and 400 acres of conservation preserves on about 961 acres of district land three miles east of I-75. Product includes single-family homes, villas, townhomes, and condominiums under a master association plus sub-associations. Confirmed amenities: 7,000-sf clubhouse with fitness, a resort pool with spa and waterfall, a smaller ancillary pool, pickleball, tennis, bocce, basketball, multi-use ball fields, inline skate park, beach volleyball, butterfly garden, and a tot-lot playground. There is no golf course, beach club, or marina. Master HOA and Habitat CDD assessments are separate; CDD charges appear on the Lee County tax bill.
