Oasis

Oasis is a twin-tower 32-floor condominium high-rise on the Caloosahatchee River about a mile from downtown Fort Myers, with 440 one- to three-bedroom residences completed in 2008 by Miami-based developer The Related Group.

Oasis is a twin-tower high-rise condominium community at 3000 and 3040 Oasis Grand Boulevard in Fort Myers (zip 33916), set directly on the Caloosahatchee River roughly one mile from the downtown Fort Myers River District. The two 32-floor towers rise about 340 feet, with residential stories stacked above structured parking. Tower I contains 200 condominiums and Tower II contains 240 units, for 440 residences in total. Floor plans run from one to three bedrooms with 1.5 to 3 baths, private balconies, and river or city views.

The project was developed by Miami-based The Related Group, whose original plan called for five 32-story towers on roughly 17 riverfront acres. Both completed towers were delivered in 2008, directly into the housing-market collapse: the first two towers had largely sold out pre-construction in 2005 at $350 to $450 per square foot, but nearly all buyers walked away from their deposits. Bank of America foreclosed on the property in 2010, and in 2011 Canadian investment group Lofton Island Holdings acquired 224 developer-owned units in Tower II for $36.7 million (about $163,000 per unit), operating that tower as leased residences under the Oasis Grand name while Tower I continued as individually owned condominiums.

Community amenities include a resort-style swimming pool with spa, a fitness center with sauna, a tennis court, billiards and business rooms, and concierge service. Pets are limited to two, with a 40-pound per-pet cap cited in listing sources. Leasing is allowed with a 30-day minimum and up to three leases per year. Recent resale listings for one- to three-bedroom units have ranged from roughly $160,000 to $530,000, keeping Oasis among the more attainable waterfront high-rise options in the Fort Myers downtown corridor.
