Park Shore is a central Naples beach-to-bay neighborhood of public streets, Gulf-front towers, and Venetian Village, with a voluntary association that runs a small private beach park.
Raymond L. Lutgert's 1964 project turned about 760 acres and more than a mile of beachfront into five plats west of U.S. 41. The Park Shore Association describes more than 600 single-family homes plus 3,590 units in 25 high-rises and additional mid-rises (about 4,190 doors if those figures are added). Streets are public. The Raymond L. Lutgert Beach Park is a 200-foot, 2.7-acre private beachfront park for association members only; membership is ownership-based and voluntary, not a mandatory master HOA. Venetian Village (Village on Venetian Bay) is the neighborhood's waterfront shopping and dining core. Boating is on Venetian Bay with Gulf access via Doctors Pass (bridge-restricted). There is no neighborhood golf club or marina as a community amenity.
