Renaissance is a low-density 500-acre gated club community of 386 homesites in south Fort Myers, anchored by an Arthur Hills eighteen and a Concert Golf-operated private club.
Official club and Concert Golf pages agree: Worthington Group opened The Club at Renaissance in 2003 with an Arthur Hills championship course (Golfweek Top 40 New Courses in 2005) and a David Humphrey Mediterranean clubhouse in 2004. The community is 386 homesites on 500 acres. Concert Golf Partners acquired the club from the Worthington partnership in 2022. A 2019-2020 Renaissance 2.0 project added a Rendezvous pool bar, fire pit, bocce, pickleball, and course work finished in fall 2020. The club also markets an 18-hole par-3 short course (The 54) woven through the par-72 layout. Official membership materials describe Full Golf (capped at 225, ages 45-75), Executive Golf (25 members, 44 and under), and Social/Community categories; social membership is treated as attached to the community on third-party pages, so social_membership_mandatory is Y at medium confidence.
