Shell Point is a 700-acre nonprofit life-care campus at Punta Rassa with about 2,500 residents, full continuum health care, and a Gordon Lewis eighteen that the public can play.

The official July 2024 fact sheet lists a nonprofit Life Care / CCRC owned by The Christian and Missionary Alliance Foundation, Inc., established 1968, 700 acres, 2,500 residents, 1,100 employees, average resident age 74. Independent living counts: The Island (including Palm Acres) 772, The Woodlands 343, Eagles Preserve 110, The Estuary 73, The Enclave 35 (1,333 independent units entered as built_homes). Assisted living and skilled nursing are on campus (King's Crown, The Arbor, The Springs, Larsen Health Center).
