West Bay Club is a gated Estero golf-and-beach community on the Estero River with a Pete and P.B. Dye eighteen, a rebuilt Gulf-front Beach Club, and optional private golf membership.
The 868-acre member-owned club opened to residents in 1998 and unveiled its Pete and P.B. Dye course in 1999. Official Troon and club copy put more than 500 acres in nature preserve and wetlands; a 2018 Club+Resort Business piece on the Fry/Straka renovation also uses 868 acres and 500 acres of preserve. The club address is 4606 West Bay Boulevard, Estero 33928. Official amenities include a private Beach Club on the Gulf (completed March 2024) with restaurant, valet, and beach attendants; Golf House, Signature Bar, and The Niblick for golf members; the community Bay House with resort pool, Aqua Café, fitness, demonstration kitchen, and spa; The Net (eight Har-Tru tennis courts) plus a sports park with six pickleball and two bocce courts; and River Park on the Estero River with a dock, boat launch, and complimentary boat storage. Golf is members-only and not bundled to every deed. Home-count figures in secondary sources range from about 750 to 1,000-plus and are left blank. Dining count uses five named official venues: Aqua Café, Golf House, Signature Bar, The Niblick, and the Beach Club restaurant. Gulf access is via the Estero River (bridge-restricted) plus the separate Little Hickory Island beach club.
