Tennis & Pickleball

Court counts, programs and the communities racquet players love.

What makes a great tennis & pickleball community?

If pickleball has a capital, it's this coast. The US Open Pickleball Championships fills East Naples Community Park's 60-plus courts every April — the 2026 edition drew over 3,500 competitors from all 50 states — and the rest of the year the region plays like it's in training. New communities now open with eight or twelve dedicated courts, pros on staff and ladder play by level, while public parks from Cambier Park in Naples to community centers in Cape Coral and Punta Gorda keep converting and adding courts.

For relocators the sport's real value is social velocity: open play rotates partners by design, and in a region full of newcomers, the fastest way to a circle of friends is often a paddle and forty-five minutes. Evaluating a community? Count dedicated courts, check the programming, and ask about lights for summer evenings.
